About BREAKER

Breaker Zine was established in June 2017 for the love of arts, culture and community. As we broaden our distribution, we have met so many great people who are doing what they love. Whether it is playing music, running a farm, teaching yoga, making art or writing poetry. It is inspiring. There is definitely a modern mentality of following your heart and finding your place and it is the mission of Breaker to celebrate that.

Q. What is Breaker Zine?

A. We are New Jersey’s only FREE arts & culture magazine. We aim to highlight and celebrate the wonderful things that are going on in our local community.

Q. How many copies are printed of each issue?

A. We are currently printing 5,000 copies of each issue, at 2 issues a year. As we gain advertisers and contributors, this number will continue to grow.

Q. How is Breaker Zine distributed?

A. Breaker is distributed through our (50+) advertisers. We deliver 60+ copies to each business to begin with and replenish by request, as needed.

Q. What is the main demographic for Breaker?

A. Our readers range from teens to senior citizens. We try to select a variety of content so that there is something for everyone to enjoy in each issue.

Q. Is Breaker Zine a free publication?

A. Breaker Zine is always free and we can thank our advertisers for that! There is a minimal shipping & handling fee for those who would like to subscribe through our website and have Breaker delivered right to their door.

Breaker Zine is collectible so the advertising opportunity really goes on beyond 6 months. Advertisers are also mentioned in multiple social media posts and their ads appear on our website.

As far as content goes, anyone is welcome to submit content to Breaker Zine via email. Content may be used in an upcoming issue depending on the theme and volume of future publications.
